About the Team
The FCM Digital team is a small, nimble team making a giant impact! We aim to create a new digital experience to transform the corporate travel technology ecosystem. Acting as a start-up within a larger organisation, our technology is stable and mature, providing a seamless user experience through various third-party online booking tools (OBTs). As we aim to enhance our user journey by integrating more of the booking experience within our platform, we seek a highly skilled and business-oriented Technical Product Owner to lead this transformation. We are all about maximising flexibility while maintaining the highest degree of user experience.

The Role
The Technical Product Owner will analyse, plan, and execute a project to integrate and end-to-end booking experience for corporates in our tool. This role requires a deep understanding of both business strategy and technical requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders, including business internal stakeholders, OBT technical team and internal engineering teams, to ensure seamless integration and enhanced user experience.
The ideal candidate for our project will possess a good understanding of flight aggregation, with a core focus on manipulating large datasets and using sophisticated algorithms to synthesize and present comprehensive flight data from diverse sources. They should demonstrate a strong capability in using APIs for real-time data fetching, ensuring policy compliance, and optimizing the search and booking process to deliver fast, accurate responses. The key is to efficiently aggregate flight information, enabling users to efficiently compare options and make informed decisions. Their expertise will be instrumental in developing a platform that streamlines flight selection by price, timings, duration, and other preferences, all while maintaining an exceptional user experience through smart data handling and algorithmic precision.
·Engage with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
·Communicate effectively with business internal stakeholders, OBT technical owners, and internal teams to align on project goals and deliverables.
·Analyse the pros and cons of various integration solutions, considering both business and technical perspectives.
·Develop a strategic roadmap for integrating this booking experience within our platform, reducing reliance on third-party OBTs while maintaining flexibility for our clients.
·Collaborate with OBT technical owners to analyse integrations and API usage.
·Ensure technical feasibility and compatibility of integrations with our platform.
·Focus on improving the overall booking experience within our platform.
·Gather and analyse user feedback to continuously improve the product.
